Lac du SalagouThe basin of the Lake of Salagou has a ground of ruffe, combination of argillaceous sediments and iron oxides. These sedimentary rocks are dated from Permian (- 280 million years), result of a deposit in aquatic environment of calm fresh water. One can observe old prints of Amphibians there, as well as basaltic, sign of old volcanic activities. |
