Chambéry

Chambery became the capital of the county of Savoy in 1232, until to 1562 when it was moved in Turin under Charles Quint.

Ducal castle

During several centuries this castle was the residence of the dukes of Savoy.

Cathedral Saint-François de Sales

It was founded in the XIIIth century by the Franciscans, and increased in the XVth. The walls and ceilings are covered by a decoration trompe-l'oeil well made by an Italian painter of the XIXth.
