Westward from Annecy one can discover the narrow Fier' gorges, whose visits are not free : paying and open time.

Montrottier castle

The castle of Montrottier was first built on a small hill in the XIIIth century. This castle is typical of the Savoyard military architecture of the Middle Ages, with its powerful keep tower and its high machicolation with about 35m height.
