Monti dei Bauges

Natural reserve since 1950, then regional natural park, the Bauges' mount eastward from Chambery and from Aix les Bains is wild and undulated inside. One can discover it by many excursions.
There are beautiful panoramas on the valley (Mount Saint Michel, Mount Revard, Cross of Nivolet) Many of its villages kept a typical architecture.

Miolans castle in SavoyCastle of Miolans

Near St Pierre d'Albigny, a first keep tower was built in the XIIth century by Miolans' lords.
It was increased in the XIVth and th XVth, then was changed in a prison.
