The famous castle of Blois dates mainly from the Renaissance, but the oldest parts date from the XIIIth century and a part was built in the XVIIth. The castle was temporarily occupied by Louis XII, it is located at the center of the city.
A stone bridge of the XVIIIth cross the Loire. The center of Blois kept good number of its streets built in the Middle Ages.
